In the 39th minute Aquilino Honesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Gelacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 minutes, Maximino Rosalio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Candelaria AFC and the Aminga players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guaberto Aznaro made a kick off. A collision led to Aminga getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Florentino Herensuge hit a great ball. When Guaberto Aznaro came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Candelaria AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guaberto Aznaro couldn't finish the play. Guaberto Aznaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Tello having to interfere. Amado Tello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Aznaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciro Chuan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Gelacio having to make a save. Amado Tello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Aznaro in the 74th minute of play. Ciro Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Candelaria AFC's Martin Gelacio got control of the ball when Ciro Chuan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aminga's Aquilino Honesto got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
