Caimancito's Alonzo Magdaleno got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cayetano Urtsua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Geronimo Mergildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 minutes of play, Caimancito's Cayetano Urtsua made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geronimo Mergildo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes into the match, Caimancito's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Bertin came free, but Feliciano Jakue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliciano Jakue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Bertin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlando Viator received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Feliciano Jakue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 played minutes Higuera got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Shepherd. Higuera's Tiburcio Bertin got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 35 in the game by Tiburcio Bertin from a close distance when the talented Feliciano Jakue managed to make a qualified save. Caimancito's players were relieved. Alonzo Magdaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Mergildo having to interfere. Orlando Viator received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Feliciano Jakue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, Caimancito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Ovando to maneuver through the defense. Armando Bartoli kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Tiburcio Bertin made the kick off in the second half. If Tiburcio Bertin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlando Viator sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santo Indalecio during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Caimancito! 67 minutes in the game, Alonzo Magdaleno fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Geronimo Mergildo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Magdaleno in the 68th minute of play forced Higuera's goalkeeper Geronimo Mergildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliciano Jakue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Viator in the 70th minute of play. Geronimo Mergildo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cayetano Urtsua in the 72nd minute. Orlando Viator sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Bertin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Feliciano Jakue was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Higuera's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
