After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Amancio Abastas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Congreso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amancio Abastas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Baudelio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Gentza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Obano having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Polvaredas AFC's Valentin Marques got a free kick in the 8th minute. After 14 minutes, Eriberto Lauaxeta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Congreso FC and the Polvaredas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eriberto Lauaxeta kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Serafino Obano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Marques in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th match minute, Congreso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Maurin to maneuver through the defense. When Polvaredas AFC's Valentin Marques in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Serafino Obano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Gentza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 2-0 became the score in the 24th minute when Joel Efren elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Joel Efren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eriberto Baudelio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Polvaredas AFC's goalkeeper Eriberto Baudelio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amancio Abastas. 31 minutes into the match, Polvaredas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Efren came free, but Eriberto Baudelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amancio Abastas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Eriberto Baudelio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 34th minute, Joel Efren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eriberto Baudelio. The goal made the score 3-0. After 37 played minutes Polvaredas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Garikoitz. Amancio Abastas struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Eriberto Baudelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Congreso FC. In the 43rd minute, Joel Efren fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Amancio Abastas managed to get in a good position for a shot. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Gentza was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Amancio Abastas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Baudelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Valentin Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Polvaredas AFC booed when Congreso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Maurin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 played minutes Polvaredas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Garikoitz. In the 62nd minute, Amancio Abastas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 63 minutes, Julio Lehior mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polvaredas AFC and the Congreso FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Julio Lehior kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The supporters of Congreso FC booed when Polvaredas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Eneas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Romulo Maurin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Congreso FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 79th minute, Joel Efren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eriberto Lauaxeta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Eriberto Baudelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Marcos Garikoitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Polvaredas AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Congreso FC the free kick. Marcos Garikoitz hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match.
