Aristides Jeraldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donato Urtzi went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Freddy Sanchez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Freddy Sanchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Fernan Cebrian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Cazador's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Xacintu came free, but Fernan Cebrian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Elida's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Herena came free, but Aristides Jeraldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Placido Froylan came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Cazador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Placido Froylan couldn't finish the play. After 23 played minutes Elida got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Paio. Iker Herena struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Aristides Jeraldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cazador. Fernan Cebrian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Sanchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 38 minutes, Gabriel Mirande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cazador and the Elida players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Elida booed when Cazador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Onbera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristo Hondo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fernan Cebrian. Cazador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Xacintu in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernan Cebrian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Elida booed when Cazador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Mirande didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Aristides Jeraldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Herena in the 57th minute of the match. Fernan Cebrian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Sanchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Freddy Sanchez struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Fernan Cebrian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elida. After a defensive mix-up in Cazador's zone, Freddy Sanchez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernan Cebrian came out of the goal and Freddy Sanchez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th match minute, Elida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Llin to maneuver through the defense. Donato Urtzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Aristides Jeraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, one of Elida:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Elida. Aristides Jeraldo had in the 80thth minute some difficulties stopping Guido Vito's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 80th minute, Guido Vito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cazador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Cazador's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
