After a rather tough play, Elida's Roberto Irrintzi got a free kick in the 8th minute. Mangrullo's Jeremias Espiridion couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Elida. Aristides Jeraldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Conrao, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Amancio Bartoleme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Aznaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Oscar Xacintu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Amancio Bartoleme skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aristides Jeraldo came out of the goal and Enrique Conrao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mangrullo's Amancio Bartoleme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Aznaro in the 43rd minute of play. If Francisco Frederico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Artemio Firmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leon Aznaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oscar Xacintu struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Amancio Bartoleme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elida. Arnaldo Transito's late challenge caught a Elida's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaldo Transito helped the player get up and apologised. 59 minutes into the game, one of Mangrullo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Elida's Aristides Jeraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Conrao in the 67th minute of play. Mangrullo's Amancio Bartoleme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Xacintu in the 69th minute of play. Oscar Xacintu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Bartoleme having to interfere. The Elida fans' excitement grew in the 98th match minute when Elida's Oscar Xacintu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mangrullo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Elida.
