The Fiorito AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. A collision led to Aragón getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto Sotil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ladislao Joanes hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Nestor Frederico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Roberto Sotil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saverio Tristan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Sotil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Roberto Sotil was a little too slow when Angel Jesco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 1-2. After the first half Fiorito AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nestor Frederico to strike the kick off in the second half. Angel Jesco charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Fiorito AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Patxi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fiorito AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
