Celestino Rico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Godofredo Chabier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruperto Llorienzo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guido Gar having to make a save. If Ruperto Llorienzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 26 minutes, Ruperto Llorienzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tuyutí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruperto Llorienzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute Maximo Senio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Gar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 minutes, Denis Dominic mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pinamar AFC and the Tuyutí players grew even worse after the yellow card. Denis Dominic hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When Ruperto Llorienzo came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Tuyutí fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Llorienzo couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osvaldo Orlo to strike the kick off in the second half. Osvaldo Orlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Chabier having to interfere. Denis Dominic kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Godofredo Chabier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Rico in the 62nd minute of play. Ruperto Llorienzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guido Gar was a little too slow when Maximo Senio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-2. If Celestino Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Senio in the 77th minute of play forced Pinamar AFC's goalkeeper Guido Gar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Pinamar AFC's Osvaldo Orlo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Godofredo Chabier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Eloy Toli fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tuyutí's protests and gave Eloy Toli a yellow card for diving instead.
