Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Curacó FC's Filomeno Gorbea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcial Haimar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vinicio Baumar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Vinicio Baumar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Severino Ospin. Carlos Caradaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Baumar having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Curacó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Caradaro came free, but Vinicio Baumar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filomeno Gorbea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramiro Cordearo having to make a save. In the 32nd minute of the match Severino Ospin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vinicio Baumar skillfully saved the ball. When Carlos Caradaro came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Ibarreta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Caradaro couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Ibarreta FC's zone, Rigoberto Cai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramiro Cordearo came out of the goal and Rigoberto Cai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramiro Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Gorbea in the 37th minute of play. Rigoberto Cai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Caradaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Vinicio Baumar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ibarreta FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jonathan Argi hit a great ball. In the 48th minute of the match Basilio Ovando sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramiro Cordearo skillfully saved the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Caradaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ramiro Cordearo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rigoberto Cai in the 56th minute. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Generoso Endura took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Ramiro Cordearo to make any attempt to save it. Rigoberto Cai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ramiro Cordearo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 70th minute, but Ramiro Cordearo got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Ibarreta FC hanging dry this time. After a defensive mix-up in Ibarreta FC's zone, Filomeno Gorbea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramiro Cordearo came out of the goal and Filomeno Gorbea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the match, Ibarreta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Gorbea came free, but Ramiro Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Rigoberto Cai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curacó FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rigoberto Cai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Cordearo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filomeno Gorbea might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramiro Cordearo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filomeno Gorbea ran back to his position shaking his head. Filomeno Gorbea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filomeno Gorbea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ramiro Cordearo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ibarreta FC's Ramiro Cordearo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Ibarreta FC from getting a goal against them. Filomeno Gorbea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rigoberto Cai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Cordearo having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Curacó FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
