An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Maximiliano Hechter got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximiliano Hechter in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elvio Garaile prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristobal Bilintx hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Elvio Garaile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Hechter in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Itatí getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Isidro Delfino hit a great ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Adrian Cai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curupayti FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Cai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adrian Cai who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Elvio Garaile when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 34th minute, Adrian Cai fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Victoriano Sugoi fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itatí's protests and gave Victoriano Sugoi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th match minute, Itatí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Sugoi to maneuver through the defense. Melchor Lartaun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Felix Maraman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximiliano Hechter in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elvio Garaile saved Itatí from getting behind. The supporters of Curupayti FC booed when Itatí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Delfino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elvio Garaile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Cai in the 58th minute of the match. Melchor Lartauns short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Felix Maraman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Melchor Lartaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximiliano Hechter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Garaile having to interfere. When Virgilio Balesio came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Itatí fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Balesio couldn't finish the play. Virgilio Balesio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Felix Maraman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
