The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Itatí getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Isidro Delfino hit a great ball. If Virgilio Balesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgilio Balesio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Uxio having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 25th minute when Damian Haritz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Chilca FC's Ruben Handi got a free kick in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Melchor Lartaun notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Chilca FC's Fernando Uxio. Fernando Uxio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 44th minute Iker Rozarius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Garaile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iker Rozarius made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Rozarius in the 52nd minute of play forced Itatí's goalkeeper Elvio Garaile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iker Rozarius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Elvio Garaile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melchor Lartaun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Fernando Uxio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Haritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Elvio Garaile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Haritz in the 75th minute of play forced Itatí's goalkeeper Elvio Garaile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Itatí's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Haritz came free, but Elvio Garaile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 played minutes Itatí got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Sugoi. Melchor Lartaun in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fernando Uxio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Virgilio Balesio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Fernando Uxio 96 minutes into the match. The Chilca FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Itatí's performance. The match ended with a win for Itatí.
