In the 24th minute Damaso Eutropio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Maraman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristobal Bilintx hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. When Ivan Porfirio fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curupayti FC's protests and gave Ivan Porfirio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Curupayti FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ivan Porfirio hit a great ball. After 34 minutes of play Dorila FC's Iker Bero was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The crowd rose to their feet as Maximiliano Hechter kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Delmiro Emmanuel. That made the score 1-1 in the 45 minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
