Aráoz FC's Fabricio Valentine couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 4th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Achicó AFC. If Alfredo Abaunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Achicó AFC's goalkeeper Justino Giro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 23 minutes, Denis Abel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aráoz FC and the Achicó AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Achicó AFC fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Achicó AFC's Tadeo Indartsu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ramiro Tajo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcial Frutos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Tajo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Tajo in the 32nd minute of play forced Aráoz FC's goalkeeper Marcial Frutos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Indartsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Frutos having to interfere. After 40 minutes, Ramiro Tajo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Achicó AFC and the Aráoz FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ramiro Tajo hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Bonifacio Ur charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bonifacio Ur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Aráoz FC's Bonifacio Ur got a free kick in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Achicó AFC's Ramiro Tajo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcial Frutos narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Pascual Mateus hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the game, Candido Millrick was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Achicó AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aráoz FC the free kick. The referee gave Aráoz FC a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fabricio Valentine, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Achicó AFC's Justino Giro. 1-1. Marcial Frutos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Tajo in the 62nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Ramiro Tajo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Achicó AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Tajo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Frutos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pascual Mateus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Marcial Frutos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Tajo in the 78th minute of play forced Aráoz FC's goalkeeper Marcial Frutos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Indartsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
