After 2 played minutes Achicó AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Tajo. Justino Giro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Cidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Arnaldo Tulio charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnaldo Tulio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, Achicó AFC's Jose Osasun got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cristo Ixona. Ramiro Tajo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Cristo Ixona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramiro Tajo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Cidro in the 26th minute of play forced Achicó AFC's goalkeeper Justino Giro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Baltasar Lorenz fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Achicó AFC's protests and gave Baltasar Lorenz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Achicó AFC's Baltasar Lorenz got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 30 minutes, Timoteo Ado made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Achicó AFC's Justino Giro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alvaro Cidro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Justino Giro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tadeo Indartsu might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristo Ixona. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tadeo Indartsu ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristo Ixona was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Ramiro Tajo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ramiro Tajo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Cristo Ixona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Tajo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timoteo Ado was the one to do the kick off. Ramiro Tajo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Baltasar Lorenz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Achicó AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! The excitement rose when Surisultana's Eustaquio Matia after 61 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Achicó AFC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-2. Alvaro Cidro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Justino Giro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timoteo Ado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alvaro Cidro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Justino Giro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Alvaro Cidro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Justino Giro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justino Giro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvaro Cidro in the 82nd minute. Ruperto Benvide helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th match minute, Surisultana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Benvide to maneuver through the defense. Ramiro Tajo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Cristo Ixona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Achicó AFC's Ramiro Tajo got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Timoteo Ado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Surisultana walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
