Hugo Jaen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Franco having to interfere. Hugo Jaen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Benedicto Franco made a huge save. Emilio Uxio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Benedicto Franco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saverio Iruinea hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, one of Hinojo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hinojo FC. Teodoro Gines placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Hugo Jaens short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Benedicto Franco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Unión AFC's Reynaldo Orlanda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Gerazan in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Alonzo Claude hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Unión AFC's zone, Angelino Totakoxe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Orlanda came out of the goal and Angelino Totakoxe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Gonzalo Gerazan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hinojo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonzalo Gerazan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Orlanda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

In the 52nd minute, Isidro Donio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Unión AFC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Hugo Jaen hit a great ball. 2-1 became the score in the 56th minute when Hugo Jaen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Angelino Totakoxe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reynaldo Orlanda was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 64th minute of the match Hinojo FC got a corner. Unión AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sebastian Liher ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hinojo FC's Sebastian Liher was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Reynaldo Orlanda in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 67 played minutes Hinojo FC got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Gelmiro. If Hugo Jaen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonzalo Gerazan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Reynaldo Orlanda when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Benedicto Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Uxio, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Hugo Jaen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benedicto Franco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unión AFC. When Hugo Jaen came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Unión AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Jaen couldn't finish the play. Hugo Jaen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Franco having to interfere. Benedicto Franco came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Unión AFC's Hugo Jaen. But to his dismay, Hugo Jaen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Unión AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
