Celedonio Gabon came out of the goal and Rene Ascencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 17 minutes, Rene Ascencio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boquerón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rene Ascencio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santiago Gamus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Gabon having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Arnas in the 21st minute of play forced Boquerón FC's goalkeeper Amadeo Guter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erubiel Arnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Guter having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celedonio Gabon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Celedonio Gabon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Gamus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvarado AFC's Higinio Macias got his second yellow card of the match in the 43rd minute. The referee ordered Higinio Macias off the ground. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Tano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Alvarado AFC's Celedonio Gabon got control of the ball when Rene Ascencio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Celedonio Gabon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santiago Gamus went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Alvarado AFC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Maximino Havier hit a great ball. If Rene Ascencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Boquerón FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
