Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gabriel Medero took the kick off in the first half of the match. Esmeralda's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Anier Ler 4 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Fernan Formerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Opilano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute Anier Ler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Formerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Esmeralda's goalkeeper Fernan Formerio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urbano Vitin. Urbano Vitin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernan Formerio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anier Ler's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Paolo Uhin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34thth minute of the game Anier Ler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esmeralda's Fernan Formerio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Animán's Oscar Montae got a free kick in the 35th minute. Godfredo Clis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nicasio Edorta. Animán's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Gabriel Medero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes Animán got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Opilano.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Baleren in the 51st minute of play forced Animán's goalkeeper Nicasio Edorta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Esmeralda's zone, Urbano Vitin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernan Formerio came out of the goal and Urbano Vitin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clodoveo Ostots's late challenge caught a Animán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clodoveo Ostots helped the player get up and apologised. If Urbano Vitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Anier Ler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernan Formerio. Esmeralda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anier Ler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 67th minute, Hipolito Baleren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicasio Edorta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paolo Uhin in the 74th minute. Fernan Formerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Vitin, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Animán's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Medero came free, but Nicasio Edorta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paolo Uhin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Nicasio Edorta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paolo Uhin struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Nicasio Edorta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esmeralda. Gabriel Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Nicasio Edorta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Faustino Arnau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
