In the 9th match minute, Piquilin AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Caradaro to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Ricardo Ebardo in the 10th minute really tested Isidoro Santikurtz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Piquilin AFC's Prudencio Regis in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olain's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Piquilin AFC booed when Olain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 37th minute of the match, Amadeo Gil tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Isidoro Santikurtz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fabian Gomesano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prudencio Regis's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. After the first half Piquilin AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amadeo Gil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Piquilin AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Matia came free, but Isidoro Santikurtz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th match minute, Olain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Justin to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Olain getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Fabian Gomesano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Regis, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amadeo Gil in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidoro Santikurtz saved Piquilin AFC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niceto Atarrabi during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 95 minutes into the game, Amadeo Gil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Isidoro Santikurtz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Olain supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Piquilin AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Piquilin AFC.
