After a defensive mix-up in Chovet's zone, Saverio Geofredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eleuterio Vimaro came out of the goal and Saverio Geofredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 4 minutes into the game, Artemio Peruxu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chovet's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luisiana AFC the free kick. Artemio Peruxu hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Saverio Geofredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Eleuterio Vimaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Chovet getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Domingos Eron hit a great ball. If Jaime Gregory had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustino Maraman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Israel Heli in the 10th minute. After 13 minutes of play, Chovet's Israel Heli made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faustino Maraman was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th minute Jaime Gregory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Vimaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Unax in the 17th minute of play forced Luisiana AFC's goalkeeper Faustino Maraman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Domingos Eron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After 21 played minutes Chovet got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Eron. 22 minutes into the match, Jaime Gregory notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Chovet's Eleuterio Vimaro. Eleuterio Vimaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Faustino Maraman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Israel Heli in the 26th minute. Constantino Unax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Maraman having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Constantino Unax got free with Faustino Maraman in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute, Saverio Geofredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faustino Maraman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Israel Heli in the 33rd minute. The audience was convinced that Constantino Unax's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faustino Maraman was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Alfredo Lorien charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Lorien the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Chovet booed when Luisiana AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Lorien didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eleuterio Vimaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Gregory in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Gregory stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Faustino Maraman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Unax in the 61st minute of play. Chovet's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantino Unax was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Maraman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Israel Heli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Luisiana AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Heli came free, but Faustino Maraman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Gregory received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. After 95 played minutes Luisiana AFC got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Geofredo. Israel Heli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
