Teodosio Orixe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Sasoin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fortuna's Luis Vedillo got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute, Teodosio Orixe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Gilen in the 25th minute of play forced Fortuna's goalkeeper Leopoldo Sasoin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Americo Egoitz got free with Dante Jokin in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teo Gilen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Leopoldo Sasoin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Teodosio Orixe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Sasoin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Fortuna's zone, Teodosio Orixe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Sasoin came out of the goal and Teodosio Orixe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Leopoldo Sasoin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Americo Egoitz in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Jokin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 94 minutes into the game, Americo Egoitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Dante Jokin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Talacasto players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
