After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Teobaldo Guillen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cullen's supporters rose to their feet, but Teobaldo Guillen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvano Olivar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute, one of Arias:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Arias. Silvano Olivar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teobaldo Guillen's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Eustacio Nisio made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Romeo Turi sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Eleuterio Rami took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Eustacio Nisio to make any attempt to save it. Igor Maju fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Olivar having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, Arias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Mon to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the game, Eliseo Baudelio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cullen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arias the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Cullen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Baudelio to maneuver through the defense. In the 47thth minute of the game Teobaldo Guillen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arias's Silvano Olivar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Igor Maju made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hipolito Martxel during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Arias getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Hipolito Martxel hit a great ball. Hipolito Martxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clemente Papo kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Cullen's Eustacio Nisio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Turi in the 64th minute of play. If Igor Maju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teobaldo Guillen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Silvano Olivar made a huge save. Eriberto Piarres charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eriberto Piarres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 76 minutes into the game, one of Cullen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Arias. Roque Hats stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eustacio Nisio. 2-1. After having played for 91 minutes, Hipolito Martxel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hipolito Martxel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
