After a defensive mix-up in Covunco FC's zone, Paulo Silbestre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Salvino came out of the goal and Paulo Silbestre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute of the match, Paulo Silbestre got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marciano Salvino was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Covunco FC's Marciano Salvino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Covunco FC from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute, Pastor Bazkoare left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Covunco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Boliche AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Covunco FC.
