With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eleuterio Giraldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andres Sedeni struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Marciano Lander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barreal FC. Marciano Lander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Clis in the 9th minute of the match. Mario Demesio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Lander having to interfere. A collision led to Barreal FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Andres Sedeni hit a great ball. After 16 played minutes Barreal FC got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Colas. Eleuterio Giraldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Sotil, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Donato Marquez fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barreal FC's protests and gave Donato Marquez a yellow card for diving instead. Delmar Clis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Marciano Lander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marciano Lander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Clis in the 31st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Delmar Clis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marciano Lander was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. When Dionisio Colas fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barreal FC's protests and gave Dionisio Colas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Barreal FC's Dionisio Colas got a free kick in the 35th minute. Eleuterio Giraldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgardo Mateo in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Clis in the 43rd minute of play forced Loreto FC's goalkeeper Marciano Lander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marciano Lander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Clis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delmar Clis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Delmar Clis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Delmar Clis came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Barreal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Clis couldn't finish the play. Loreto FC's Marciano Lander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Clis in the 69th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Barreal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Sedeni to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Barreal FC's zone, David Sotil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eleuterio Giraldo came out of the goal and David Sotil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the match, Barreal FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Sotil came free, but Eleuterio Giraldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andres Sedeni during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th minute, Andres Sedeni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Sotil in the 87th minute of play forced Barreal FC's goalkeeper Eleuterio Giraldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Edgardo Mateo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Mateo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Loreto FC's Edgardo Mateo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eleuterio Giraldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Edgardo Mateo sped through Barreal FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eleuterio Giraldo.
