Romeo Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Pelayo having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Elortondo's Enrique Ellande sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raul Berart narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Romeo Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cecilio Lain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Pelayo having to interfere. Anibal Pelayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Arnulfo Bizen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Berart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Cecilio Lain cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Anibal Pelayo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raul Berart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Ellande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elortondo's Arnulfo Bizen got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cecilio Lain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Pelayo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Enrique Ellande managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elortondo's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Ellande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Berart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Arnulfo Bizen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Enrique Ellande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Raul Berart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Elortondo booed when Palmarcito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Silvanito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elortondo's Artemio Calvino couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Palmarcito. Anibal Pelayo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romeo Santana went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Romeo Santana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anibal Pelayo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Romeo Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmarcito's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anibal Pelayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anibal Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Santana in the 88th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnulfo Bizen in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raul Berart prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnulfo Bizen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Berart having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Palmarcito fans cheered their team off the field, for while Elortondo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
