With a left leg Tobias Ixaka saved Neuquén FC from getting behind. Ambrosio Paz hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Neuquén FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Arnulfo Bizen 7 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After having played for 15 minutes, Enrique Ellande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elortondo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Ellande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serafin George kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 32 minutes in the game, Arnulfo Bizen fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tobias Ixaka having to interfere. In the 40th minute Eriberto Admon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Pelayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafin George's late challenge caught a Neuquén FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafin George helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 42 minutes, Freddy Teyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neuquén FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Teyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Freddy Teyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Anibal Pelayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Elortondo got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Calvino. Paolo Hernandez was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After 53 minutes of play, Elortondo's Enrique Ellande made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tobias Ixaka was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 57 played minutes Elortondo got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Calvino. Anibal Pelayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paolo Hernandez in the 59th minute. Tobias Ixaka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Ellande, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 3-1 became the score in the 73rd minute when Enrique Ellande elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Neuquén FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Cristian Eli hit a great ball. Cesar Eufrasio hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Neuquén FC's goalkeeper Tobias Ixaka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Neuquén FC booed when Elortondo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Romano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Eriberto Admon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anibal Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Admon in the 99th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Elortondo were victorious despite being under pressure from Neuquén FC for much of the match.
