Puelin's Laureano Pirro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Puelin from getting a goal against them. After 25 minutes, Fernando Montxo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Resolana and the Puelin players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Resolana:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Puelin:s goal. Laureano Pirro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Dimo in the 32nd minute of play. Puelin's Laureano Pirro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Dimo in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Lorenzo Manex managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puelin's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Manex was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Indar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rosendo Ted fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Indar having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Lorenzo Manex shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Indar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 minutes, Laureano Canor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Resolana and the Puelin players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Resolana's Laureano Canor got a free kick in the 44th minute. The Resolana players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Puelin were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicasio Dimo made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Generoso Ramirez put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Laureano Pirro. Laureano Canor hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Nicasio Dimo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Pirro having to interfere. Lorenzo Manex fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Indar having to interfere. Puelin's Lorenzo Manex got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laureano Pirro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Dimo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Generoso Ramirez notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Puelin's Laureano Pirro. Laureano Pirro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 95 played minutes Puelin got a freekick which was hit by Saul Tino. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Puelin walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
