After 20 minutes, Ramon Vigil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tacuara and the Caspi players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tacuara getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ramon Vigil hit a great ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Gonzalo Fero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tacuara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo Fero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caspi's Damaso Sanduru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Fero in the 23rd minute of play. Tacuara's Conrado Matei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Urdin in the 35th minute of play. Ignacio Santxol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Caspi booed when Tacuara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Indar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Ernesto Urdin made a precise shot to the right of Conrado Matei. Tacuara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Fero in the 71st minute of play forced Caspi's goalkeeper Damaso Sanduru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teobaldo Umbruso hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Esteve Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute.
