In the 18th match minute, Caspi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Hondo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Nicasio Dimo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Resolana's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicasio Dimo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damaso Sanduru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute Ignacio Santxol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Indar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damaso Sanduru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Dimo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If Nicasio Dimo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Maximino Lehen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damaso Sanduru was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Ernesto Urdin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Caspi's Ignacio Santxol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind David Indar. David Indar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicasio Dimo was the one to do the kick off. Nicasio Dimo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Sanduru having to interfere. After 56 minutes of play, Caspi's Ernesto Urdin made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Indar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernesto Urdin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. David Indar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Generoso Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nicasio Dimo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Sanduru having to interfere. Ernesto Urdin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. David Indar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Resolana got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Canor. Generoso Ramirez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Laureano Canor fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Resolana's protests and gave Laureano Canor a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Resolana getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Laureano Canor hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, Caspi's Ignacio Santxol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Indar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90thth minute of the game Ignacio Santxol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Resolana's David Indar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Generoso Ramirez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Damaso Sanduru made a huge save. If Ernesto Urdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caspi's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
