Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Maximo Pere kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Fitarruín FC's goalkeeper Zeledon Iago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ariel Cerilo. When Jairo Henric fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fitarruín FC's protests and gave Jairo Henric a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Fitarruín FC's Jairo Henric got a free kick in the 5th minute. Zeledon Iago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Cerilo in the 6th minute. Maximo Pere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Zeledon Iago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeledon Iago was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Maximo Pere capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maximo Pere really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 19th minute Sergio Lico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Furman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Lico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ramiro Furman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fitarruín FC were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Devoto's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gregorio Gerazan took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Enzo Ciceron got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ramiro Furman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jairo Henric kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Maximo Pere hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Zeledon Iago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Pere in the 33rd minute of play. If Ariel Cerilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Maximo Pere got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Pere in the 48th minute of play forced Fitarruín FC's goalkeeper Zeledon Iago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santo Pelayo made a kick off. Devoto's Ramiro Furman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Devoto from getting a goal against them. After 54 played minutes Devoto got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Sotero. In the 55th match minute, Devoto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Vergaray to maneuver through the defense. Santo Pelayo struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ramiro Furman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fitarruín FC. Gregorio Gerazan hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute of the match Angel Birila shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeledon Iago showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fitarruín FC's goalkeeper Zeledon Iago, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maximo Pere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Zeledon Iago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nunez Richie kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. When Maximo Pere came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Devoto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximo Pere couldn't finish the play. 2-0 became the score in the 77th minute when Ariel Cerilo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some careless play in the Devoto defense, Santo Pelayo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramiro Furman. The Devoto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramiro Furman should have stopped the shot. Ariel Cerilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Devoto fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fitarruín FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
