Segundo Eufrasio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Lico in the 14th minute of play. If Sergio Lico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camarones FC's Segundo Eufrasio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Lico in the 18th minute of play. Sergio Lico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Eufrasio having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Camarones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Lico came free, but Segundo Eufrasio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santo Pelayo in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Segundo Eufrasio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Domingos Berdoi scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zeledon Iago, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 36 played minutes Fitarruín FC got a freekick which was hit by Justino Mitxaut. Andres Aires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 47 minutes, Andres Aires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Camarones FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Aires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Andres Aires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Zeledon Iago made a huge save. In the 53rd minute, Sergio Lico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes in the game, Andres Aires fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Zeledon Iago having to interfere. 60 minutes into the game, Nunez Richie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fitarruín FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Camarones FC the free kick. In the 60th minute, Nunez Richie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santo Pelayo might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Segundo Eufrasio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santo Pelayo ran back to his position shaking his head. When Santo Pelayo came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Fitarruín FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santo Pelayo couldn't finish the play. Sergio Lico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th match minute, Camarones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Silviano to maneuver through the defense. When Sergio Lico fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fitarruín FC's protests and gave Sergio Lico a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes Fitarruín FC got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Lico. Wilfredo Rolado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justino Mitxaut hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Domingos Berdoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute Sergio Lico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Eufrasio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Segundo Eufrasio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Pelayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
