In the 6th minute, Delmiro Txartiko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eliseo Leocadio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Melquiades Geofredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute Romeo Dolfos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Lauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 played minutes Salazar FC got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Bittor. In the 15th minute, Delmiro Txartiko made a precise shot to the right of Melquiades Geofredo. Salazar FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Viamonte getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Eliseo Leocadio hit a great ball. Romeo Dolfos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ricardo Lauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Lauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Dolfos in the 30th minute of play. Moises Nel kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Eliseo Leocadio might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melquiades Geofredo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Leocadio ran back to his position shaking his head. 47 minutes into the match, Salazar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Leocadio came free, but Melquiades Geofredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48thth minute of the game Eliseo Leocadio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salazar FC's Melquiades Geofredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romeo Dolfos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Salazar FC's goalkeeper Melquiades Geofredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Viamonte's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Behe came free, but Ricardo Lauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 played minutes Salazar FC got a freekick which was hit by Roque Panfilo. Ricardo Lauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Dolfos, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Dolfos in the 71st minute of play forced Viamonte's goalkeeper Ricardo Lauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee gave Salazar FC a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cleto Tuste, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Viamonte's Ricardo Lauro. 1-2. Delmiro Txartiko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Melquiades Geofredo made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Salazar FC's zone, Delmiro Txartiko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Geofredo came out of the goal and Delmiro Txartiko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 80 in the game by Eliseo Leocadio from a close distance when the talented Melquiades Geofredo managed to make a qualified save. Salazar FC's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Salazar FC's zone, Delmiro Txartiko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Geofredo came out of the goal and Delmiro Txartiko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliseo Leocadio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Melquiades Geofredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the game, Amadeo Bittor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salazar FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viamonte the free kick. The supporters of Viamonte booed when Salazar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Bittor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98th minute, Samuel Quinten sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Salazar FC's Melquiades Geofredo didn't even have to move. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Viamonte walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
