Rene Valentine kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. If Tomas Eate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th minute Fabian Hegoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Frederik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geronimo Frederik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Hegoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Eate in the 21st minute of play forced Andant FC's goalkeeper Manuel Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Andant FC's Leonides Abarca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geronimo Frederik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Punco's Tomas Eate sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Eztebe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leonides Abarca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Frederik having to interfere. When Fabian Hegoi fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Andant FC's protests and gave Fabian Hegoi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Punco booed when Andant FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Hegoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Punco's Geronimo Frederik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Hegoi in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Eate to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Baldomiro Quin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Punco's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Quin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Eztebe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baldomiro Quin ran back to his position shaking his head. Punco's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Andant FC had won, even though Punco had held more of the ball.
