The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Haitz during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bruno Arano was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Donato Llorenc capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Donato Llorenc really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 31 minutes into the match, Palma AFC's goalkeeper Bruno Arano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaudencio Modestio. A hard shot by Eduardo Birila from long distance, 33 minutes into the match, got Bruno Arano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Palma AFC's Alfredo Kaiet got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Donato Llorenc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 minutes, Gilberto Laurin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palma AFC and the Andant players grew even worse after the yellow card. Palma AFC's Bruno Arano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Guillen in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 79 minutes, Gilberto Laurin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palma AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Laurin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Gorosti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palma AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Andant the free kick. In the 83rd match minute, Palma AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Gorosti to maneuver through the defense. Andant's Miguel Haitz got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute. The referee ordered Miguel Haitz off the ground. If Alfredo Kaiet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palma AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
