Chimpay's Marcelino Oxel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Chimpay from getting a goal against them. Chimpay's Marcelino Oxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Llorenc in the 6th minute of play. Andant's Esteban Hechter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Montxo in the 8th minute of play. When Gaudencio Modestio came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Andant fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaudencio Modestio couldn't finish the play. Gaudencio Modestio might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelino Oxel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaudencio Modestio ran back to his position shaking his head. 25 minutes into the game, Chimpay's Jorge Udalaitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esteban Hechter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 28th minute, Jorge Udalaitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andant's Esteban Hechter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Montxo in the 37th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Andant got a freekick which was hit by Iker Guillen. 39 minutes into the game, Iker Guillen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Andant's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chimpay the free kick. After a rather tough play, Andant's Iker Guillen got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute Joel Montxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Hechter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Montxo in the 45th minute of play forced Andant's goalkeeper Esteban Hechter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donato Llorenc was the one to do the kick off. Esteban Hechter made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Jorge Udalaitz sent off a good shot on target. Joel Montxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Hechter having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Rioja during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Andant booed when Chimpay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Rioja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteban Hechter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Montxo in the 87th minute of the match. Jorge Udalaitz made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 88thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Esteban Hechter would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 93rd minute of the match, Jorge Udalaitz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Esteban Hechter was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Llorenc in the 96th minute of play forced Chimpay's goalkeeper Marcelino Oxel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Chimpay defense, Gaudencio Modestio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelino Oxel. The Chimpay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelino Oxel should have stopped the shot. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
