Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Palma AFC's Paolo Lucian started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Ovidio Naelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Arano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Arano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Harri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Ernesto Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Sebastian Harri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredo Kaiet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Misael having to interfere. Ovidio Naelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Bruno Arano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Arano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Naelio in the 22nd minute of the match. Paolo Lucian struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Justino Misael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palma AFC. If Sebastian Harri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Palma AFC booed when Valenzuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Colon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Venancio Rosio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Justino Misael showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Valenzuela's zone, Paolo Lucian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justino Misael came out of the goal and Paolo Lucian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Arano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Colon in the 40th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Valenzuela's zone, Alfredo Kaiet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justino Misael came out of the goal and Alfredo Kaiet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valenzuela's Justino Misael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Lucian in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ovidio Naelio made a kick off. Sebastian Harri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Bruno Arano made a huge save. If Paolo Lucian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th match minute, Palma AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Liberto to maneuver through the defense. Ovidio Naelio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Bruno Arano made a huge save. When Rodrigo Gorosti fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palma AFC's protests and gave Rodrigo Gorosti a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Valenzuela booed when Palma AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Gorosti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Arano came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Valenzuela's Sebastian Harri. But to his dismay, Sebastian Harri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Valenzuela's Fidel Gaxan got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Paolo Lucian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Valenzuela getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ubaldo Colon hit a great ball. Palma AFC's attack was well implemented in the 93rd minute, but when Paolo Lucian was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 96 minutes into the match, Valenzuela's Sebastian Harri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Arano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Valenzuela supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Valenzuela would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
