Virgilio Ostots made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Diego Janpiers short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Valentin Hitzeder to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Jaime Piarres fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pedregal's protests and gave Jaime Piarres a yellow card for diving instead. Jaime Piarres was shown his second yellow card after 33 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 34th match minute, Pedregal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Piarres to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Hitzeder was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Moises Raymond showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 36 minute of play. Mario Neto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Ostots read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Diego Janpiers short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Valentin Hitzeder to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mario Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Virgilio Ostots tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute, Paulino Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Pedregal's Mario Neto got a free kick in the 56th minute. Diego Janpier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Valentin Hitzeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Pedregal's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Raymond came free, but Valentin Hitzeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Angelino Bidun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 minutes of play, Famaillá's Moises Raymond made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentin Hitzeder was left in no man's land by his defense there! Moises Raymond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Diego Janpier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valentin Hitzeder. Pedregal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Janpier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Valentin Hitzeder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Raymond in the 83rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Diego Janpier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Famaillá's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Janpier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Hitzeder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Moises Raymond put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Valentin Hitzeder. Diego Janpier struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Valentin Hitzeder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Famaillá. Pedregal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
