The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Segundo Abajas during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tecka AFC's Abel Quirze proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Tecka AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 10th minute Ariel Olayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Ioritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Tecka AFC booed when Telaritos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Gaizkine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Ioritz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Senin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Ariel Olayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tecka AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ariel Olayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Ioritz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 32 minutes, Augusto Gaizkine mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Telaritos AFC and the Tecka AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Telaritos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Gaizkine to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Abel Quirze successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ivan Ioritz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Senin in the 36th minute of the match. Ariel Olayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Ioritz having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bartolo Senin was the one to do the kick off. When Ariel Olayo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Tecka AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariel Olayo couldn't finish the play. Telaritos AFC's Ivan Ioritz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Telaritos AFC from getting a goal against them. Paolo Ricart hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Leonardo Palben fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Quirze having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Tecka AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Jorrin came free, but Abel Quirze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melquiades Jerrald struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Ivan Ioritz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tecka AFC. In the 83rd minute, Ariel Olayo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Telaritos AFC's goalkeeper Ivan Ioritz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 87 minutes, Ariel Olayo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tecka AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ariel Olayo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tecka AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
