In the 27th minute of the match Godfredo Cedro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramon Serafo skillfully saved the ball. Luisito Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Patxi having to interfere. When Gabriel Irrintzi came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Correa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Irrintzi couldn't finish the play. Juan Chorche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Ramon Serafo made a huge save.
