Alberto Edwardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Frantzes having to interfere. In the 6thth minute of the game Alberto Edwardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Puerta's Lisandro Frantzes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Puerta's goalkeeper Lisandro Frantzes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauricio Bartoli during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Mauricio Bartoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Barranqueras FC booed when Puerta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Hermon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lisandro Frantzes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prudencio Gurutz's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Puerta's Jacinto Hermon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santiago Inguma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Gurutz in the 30th minute of play forced Puerta's goalkeeper Lisandro Frantzes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Barranqueras FC's goalkeeper Santiago Inguma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Sergio Sanson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Prudencio Gurutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Alberto Edwardo made the kick off in the second half. Puerta's Lisandro Frantzes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Puerta from getting a goal against them. Santiago Inguma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Hermon in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Barranqueras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Hermon came free, but Santiago Inguma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Puerta's Rigoberto Vincente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santiago Inguma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Santiago Inguma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Vincente in the 62nd minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Benedicto Rutenio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barranqueras FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puerta the free kick. In the 62nd match minute, Barranqueras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Rutenio to maneuver through the defense. If Alberto Edwardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedicto Rutenio hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Lisandro Frantzes made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Alberto Edwardo sent off a good shot on target. When Valentin Bordat fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puerta's protests and gave Valentin Bordat a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Puerta getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Valentin Bordat hit a great ball. Alberto Edwardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Frantzes having to interfere. Alberto Edwardo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Barranqueras FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Hermon in the 87th minute of play forced Barranqueras FC's goalkeeper Santiago Inguma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Puerta's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
