Saturnino Hurko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Cordario, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Canals FC's Roque Gilesindo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Beltxe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Timoteo Macerio fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canals FC's protests and gave Timoteo Macerio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Canals FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Timoteo Macerio hit a great ball. If Oscar Vergaray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Timoteo Macerio came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Canals FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Macerio couldn't finish the play. Juan Beltxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Gilesindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Roque Gilesindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Juan Beltxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roque Gilesindo made a kick off. A collision led to Comallo AFC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Venancio Lekubegi hit a great ball. Oscar Vergaray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Hurko having to interfere. In the 67th minute Roque Gilesindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Beltxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimeno Gipuzkoa's late challenge caught a Canals FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimeno Gipuzkoa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, Jimeno Gipuzkoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Beltxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Gilesindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Roque Gilesindo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Comallo AFC's Juan Beltxe. Juan Beltxe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 77 minutes of play Canals FC's Timoteo Macerio was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. If Oscar Vergaray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Canals FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Comallo AFC:s goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Vergaray got free with Saturnino Hurko in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Saturnino Hurko made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Oscar Vergaray sent off a good shot on target. In the 98th minute, Comallo AFC's Felix Cordario ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Saturnino Hurko. Saturnino Hurko yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Comallo AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
