In the 19th minute Severiano Ascencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Bibiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Ascencio in the 19th minute of play forced Alvarado AFC's goalkeeper Mario Bibiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severiano Ascencio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Salamon's late challenge caught a Ascochinga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Salamon helped the player get up and apologised. Alfredo Salamon kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Severiano Ascencio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mario Bibiano was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Mario Bibiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Ascencio in the 64th minute of the match. When Adolfo Jesco came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Ascochinga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Jesco couldn't finish the play. Mario Bibiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Cerilo in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Silvano Tonete got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Faustino Felo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvarado AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Felo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
