Ulises Sotil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Abella, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Ovidio Abella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ulises Sotil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Arnulfo Rexino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donato Reno. Federal AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnulfo Rexino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Donato Reno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Rexino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Millán's Arnulfo Rexino in 22 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Donato Reno guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 24 minutes into the match, Millán's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Abella came free, but Ulises Sotil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Federal AFC's Donato Reno got control of the ball when Desiderio Odon tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Arnulfo Rexino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Donato Reno. Arnulfo Rexino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Severino Cebrian struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Ulises Sotil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Federal AFC. Ovidio Abella blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulises Sotil having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnulfo Rexino in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donato Reno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Donato Reno successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Severino Cebrian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the match, Severino Cebrian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulises Sotil. Millán's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severino Cebrian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.

Arnulfo Rexino struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Donato Reno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Millán. If Agustin Montay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino Cebrian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Sotil having to interfere. Ulises Sotil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Abella in the 62nd minute of play. After 67 played minutes Federal AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Barea. After having played for 68 minutes, Desiderio Odon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Millán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Odon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute, Millán's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ovidio Abella fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Arnulfo Rexino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Donato Reno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Millán got a freekick which was hit by German Perfecto. Ovidio Abella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Sotil having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Severino Cebrian took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Ulises Sotil to make any attempt to save it. Despite being the better team, Federal AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
