Soto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustacio Claus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baldomero Iturri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Paublo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauro Estavan spun around in front of the goal 41 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Lunlunta FC's goal. Urbano Lesardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Claus in the 43rd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesar Mattin was the one to do the kick off. Urbano Lesardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Estavan in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Soto getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Mauro Estavan hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Cesar Mattin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomero Iturri was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Cesar Mattin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Iturri having to interfere. Soto's Eustacio Claus got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
