Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marciano Amor got the match started through his kick off. Moises Licerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Guillem having to interfere. Faustino Guillem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Aurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciriaco Aurre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Aurre in the 9th minute of play forced Palermo FC's goalkeeper Faustino Guillem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Moises Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustino Guillem came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Acebal's Moises Licerio. But to his dismay, Moises Licerio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Moises Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Palermo FC booed when Acebal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Frichoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ariel Gaizkine took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Celestino Osasun. Acebal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marciano Amor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Osasun having to interfere. If Marciano Amor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celestino Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Amor, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Marciano Amor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Marciano Amor took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Celestino Osasun to make any attempt to save it. In the 43rd of the match, Marciano Amor tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Celestino Osasun got in the way and made a wonderful save. Moises Licerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Guillem having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Ciriaco Aurre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acebal's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciriaco Aurre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Guillem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Ciriaco Aurre made the kick off in the second half. Faustino Guillem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Aurre in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to Acebal getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Gualterio Enekoitz hit a great ball. Moises Licerio struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Faustino Guillem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acebal. Ciriaco Aurre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Guillem having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Acebal got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Frichoso. In the 82nd minute Bernardo Dayam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Palermo FC's Ariel Gaizkine to fire away a dangerous shot which Celestino Osasun despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Moises Licerio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Faustino Guillem made a huge save. Celestino Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Dayam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute Marciano Amor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Acebal players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
