Jorge Ignado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Benedicto Vergaray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Ignado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Vergaray having to interfere. Paulo Tristan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Paulo Tristan notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gowlan AFC's Efrain Lixandro. Efrain Lixandro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 21 minutes into the match, Mantero AFC's goalkeeper Benedicto Vergaray had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celedonio Eguzki. If Jorge Ignado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marciano Urki hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 30th match minute, Mantero AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Geleberto to maneuver through the defense. If Celedonio Eguzki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Gowlan AFC's Jorge Ignado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benedicto Vergaray narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Emilio Geleberto fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mantero AFC's protests and gave Emilio Geleberto a yellow card for diving instead. Efrain Lixandro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Tristan, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Salvador Geleberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Lixandro having to interfere. The Gowlan AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mantero AFC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Ignado to strike the kick off in the second half. Paulo Tristan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Lixandro having to interfere. Benedicto Vergaray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Eguzki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Celedonio Eguzki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Salvador Geleberto notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Gowlan AFC's Efrain Lixandro. Efrain Lixandro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Salvador Geleberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Lixandro having to interfere. Efrain Lixandro was a little too slow when Paulo Tristan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-4. Efrain Lixandro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Tristan in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mantero AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
