Pila FC's Santos Tabb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Eguzki in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Lidon in the 29th minute of play forced Gowlan AFC's goalkeeper Efrain Lixandro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Urti during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Santos Tabb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Gavino Diaz made a precise shot to the right of Efrain Lixandro. Gowlan AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Jorge Ignado made the kick off in the second half. Armando Montez charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Pila FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Diaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efrain Lixandro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Basilio Gines hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
