Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benigno Rojelio started the match with the kick off. Eloy Clodio struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Roque Weather didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ascensión FC. Rolando Eztebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rolando Eztebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eloy Clodio in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roque Weather saved Betbeder from getting behind. Eloy Clodio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Eloy Clodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 23 minutes, Eloy Clodio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ascensión FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eloy Clodio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Betbeder's Arnulfo Jaunzuria in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ascensión FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Betbeder's Roque Weather got control of the ball when Rolando Eztebe tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Rolando Eztebe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ascensión FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Eztebe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roque Weather showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Clodio in the 41st minute of the match. Rolando Eztebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Roque Weather tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eloy Clodio made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Rojelio in the 52nd minute of play forced Ascensión FC's goalkeeper Tomás Vigil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arnulfo Jaunzuria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Ascensión FC's Victorino Librado got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute Benigno Rojelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Vigil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomás Vigil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Rojelio in the 65th minute of the match. After 67 played minutes Ascensión FC got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Quintin. When Arnulfo Jaunzuria came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Betbeder fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnulfo Jaunzuria couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute Benigno Rojelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Vigil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ascensión FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Victorino Librado hit a great ball. Tomás Vigil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnulfo Jaunzuria in the 80th minute. After 81 minutes, Carolo Bidun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ascensión FC and the Betbeder players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st minute, Carolo Bidun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomás Vigil acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Christian Shantala. Benigno Rojelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Vigil having to interfere. Ascensión FC's Tomás Vigil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Ascensión FC from getting a goal against them. When Victorino Librado was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. The supporters of Betbeder booed when Ascensión FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Librado didn't get a good kick on the ball.
