Israel Odilon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Leobardo having to interfere. The supporters of Jagüelito FC booed when Puntilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Abeitia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Salvador Liher managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jagüelito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Liher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Cisco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 19 minutes, Erasmo George mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Puntilla and the Jagüelito FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 23 minutes into the match, Jagüelito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Abeitia came free, but Mario Leobardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godofredo Johans kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jagüelito FC's zone, Siro Abeitia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Leobardo came out of the goal and Siro Abeitia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the match, Puntilla's Israel Odilon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mario Leobardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Jagüelito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Abeitia came free, but Mario Leobardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Israel Odilon put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mario Leobardo. Teobaldo Ikatz hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Benedicto Eufrasio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Flavio Cisco made a huge save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Salvador Liher made the kick off in the second half. Benedicto Eufrasio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Cisco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Jagüelito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Odilon came free, but Mario Leobardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 60 played minutes Jagüelito FC got a freekick which was hit by Leon Uzuri. After 64 played minutes Jagüelito FC got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Mantzio. The supporters of Puntilla booed when Jagüelito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Liher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Hernandez was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 67th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 75th minute, Benedicto Eufrasio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flavio Cisco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Liher in the 76th minute of the match. Flavio Cisco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Eufrasio, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 81 played minutes Jagüelito FC got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Liher. 83 minutes into the match, Jagüelito FC's goalkeeper Mario Leobardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Siro Abeitia. Mario Leobardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Odilon in the 85th minute of play. Mario Leobardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Siro Abeitia in the 90th minute. Godofredo Johans's late challenge caught a Puntilla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godofredo Johans helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Jagüelito FC's Godofredo Johans got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After 96 minutes Jagüelito FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedro Hernandez who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Pedro Hernandez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mario Leobardo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Puntilla's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
