If Maximino Orain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidoro Virila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Paio having to interfere. Maximino Orain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Larguía's Benicio Maura got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Jacobo Leobardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Maura in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Trebolares FC booed when Larguía was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Gelmiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Trebolares FC's Erasmo Bela broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. After having played for 39 minutes, Isidoro Virila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trebolares FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Virila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Larguía's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Virila came free, but Lázaro Paio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Aureliano Gelmiro fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Larguía's protests and gave Aureliano Gelmiro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Larguía's Aureliano Gelmiro got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Larguía's zone, Isidoro Virila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Paio came out of the goal and Isidoro Virila tried to chip the ball over his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The wind increased when Maximino Orain made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Isidoro Virila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trebolares FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Virila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lázaro Paio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isidoro Virila struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Lázaro Paio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trebolares FC. Horacio Lico charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horacio Lico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th minute, Horacio Lico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Larguía's zone, Maximino Orain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Paio came out of the goal and Maximino Orain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the match, Isidoro Virila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lázaro Paio. Larguía's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidoro Virila was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Orain in the 74th minute of play forced Larguía's goalkeeper Lázaro Paio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 played minutes Larguía got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Gelmiro. In the 76th minute Maximino Orain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Paio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 minutes of play Larguía's Aureliano Gelmiro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Larguía getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Aureliano Gelmiro hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Maximino Orain kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lázaro Paio. That made the score 1-2 in the 82 minute of play. Isidoro Virila might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lázaro Paio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoro Virila ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Larguía booed when Trebolares FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Orain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidoro Virila who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 100thth minute tested the skills of Lázaro Paio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match was over Trebolares FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Larguía throughout the match.
