Vicente Jaunti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Bernat having to interfere. A collision led to Paternal AFC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Claudio Txurio hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Lázaro Boniel in the 19th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Simon Bernat's left hand side. 23 minutes into the match, Paternal AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Jaunti came free, but Simon Bernat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
