Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Jaime Jax started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Sijes's zone, Genaro Eliazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmelo Frechoso came out of the goal and Genaro Eliazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Genaro Eliazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Carmelo Frechoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Candelaria's Gustavo Ihintza broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Carmelo Frechoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Oier in the 11th minute of the match. Sijes's Carmelo Frechoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Sijes from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute, Virgilio Viator hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th match minute, Sijes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Serapio to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Candelaria's Gustavo Ihintza got a free kick in the 26th minute. Marcos Serafo struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Rafael Turi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sijes. Marcos Serafo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genaro Eliazar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Carmelo Frechoso made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delmiro Oier to make the kick off. Marcos Serafo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sijes's Virgilio Viator suffered a sore thigh after 54 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Elias Elazar hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. If Jaime Jax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Serafo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Hernan Bento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marciano Mitxaut during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Candelaria's Genaro Eliazar got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Sijes defense, Delmiro Oier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carmelo Frechoso. The Sijes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carmelo Frechoso should have stopped the shot. Carmelo Frechoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Oier, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Marcos Serafo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Turi having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Sijes's Marcos Serafo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Marcos Serafo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Delmiro Oier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carmelo Frechoso was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacinto Serapio during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sijes's goalkeeper Carmelo Frechoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Delmiro Oier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carmelo Frechoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. If Marcos Serafo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
